Lingwell is an AI-guided reflective writing tool currently offered in pilot form.
Lingwell is designed for structured self-expression and personal reflection. It is not medical care, psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, crisis intervention, or a substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment.
Lingwell does not create a therapist-client, physician-patient, fiduciary, or other professional relationship.
Lingwell is not a regulated medical device and is not intended for use in diagnosis, treatment, clinical decision-making, or patient care management.
Lingwell generates responses through automated artificial intelligence systems. You acknowledge and agree that:
You assume full responsibility for how you interpret and use any system output.
Lingwell does not undertake to review, monitor, or analyze user content for safety, risk, or clinical significance.
Lingwell does not monitor user activity in real time and does not reliably detect crisis signals or emergency conditions.
Lingwell has no obligation to monitor, respond to, or intervene in situations involving distress, self-harm, harm to others, or emergency circumstances.
Any limited review conducted for system improvement purposes is not performed in real time and does not constitute monitoring, supervision, or a safety function.
Lingwell is not designed to identify, assess, or respond to mental health crises or emergency situations and must not be used for those purposes.

You are solely responsible for seeking appropriate professional or emergency assistance when needed.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Lingwell.
By agreeing to this Agreement, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
Lingwell is not intended for use by individuals under 18.
Lingwell is currently in a pilot phase. Participation is voluntary.
You may discontinue use at any time.
Lingwell may suspend or terminate access at its sole discretion.
During your use of Lingwell, we may collect:

You retain ownership of content you submit.
By using Lingwell, you grant Center for Linguistic Health LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and analyze your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service.
You represent and warrant that you have the right to submit any content you provide.
Lingwell is not intended for the storage or transmission of protected health information unless expressly agreed to in a separate written agreement.
Users should not submit medical records, insurance information, or other regulated health data unless explicitly authorized.
Lingwell may utilize third-party service providers, including cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence processing providers, to deliver the service.
These providers are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality and appropriate security safeguards and may only process data as necessary to support Lingwell's functionality.
We implement commercially reasonable safeguards including encryption and access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Identifiable user content is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service and maintain access to prior sessions, unless deletion is requested.
De-identified and aggregated data may be retained for system improvement purposes.
You may request deletion of identifiable data through the website.
Outputs generated by Lingwell, including summaries, are intended solely for the user's personal reflection.
Any sharing of outputs with third parties is at the user's discretion and risk.
Center for Linguistic Health LLC assumes no responsibility for third-party interpretation, reliance, or use of any output.
You acknowledge that engaging in written reflection about personal or emotional experiences may involve discomfort or unintended emotional responses.
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your use of Lingwell.
You agree not to use Lingwell to:
Lingwell is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Center for Linguistic Health LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.
No guarantee is made regarding outcomes, emotional benefit, clarity, or personal improvement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Center for Linguistic Health LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.
In no event shall total liability exceed the greater of one hundred dollars ($100) or the total amount paid by you during the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Center for Linguistic Health LLC and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of:
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement or your use of Lingwell shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association.
Arbitration shall take place in Tennessee.
You agree that disputes shall be resolved on an individual basis only and waive any right to participate in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.
Center for Linguistic Health LLC shall not be liable for delays or failures resulting from causes beyond reasonable control.
If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of Lingwell after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
